In May of 2013, World Wide Safety Consulting accepted the Safe Supplier or Vendor Award for the Southeastern Construction Owners and Association Roundtable (SCOAR). The award was for our oversight of the Environmental Health and Safety Program of a infrastructure company involved in the construction of a large hybrid energy facility. Our client logged over 509,000 scaffolding man-hours without incident over the course of the year-long project.
Starting in March of 2013, World Wide Professional Services has provided construction management oversight for a mid west utility. The owner placed a strong emphasis on the early and accurate calculation of the final project cost and final project completion date. WWPS, working closely as Rep for the utility, successfully achieved these objectives to the mutual satisfaction of all participating parties.
The scope of the project consisted of the installation of a Dry Sorbent Injection System and an Activated Carbon Injection. The intent of the DSI project is to reduce sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions by injecting dry sorbent to remove SO2 and HCI from the flue gas (DSI system).
WWPS is currently providing construction management oversight of the installation of a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Project installation scheduled 2014 through 2016.
